Job Title Accountant / Analyst

Even during tax season, we’ve proudly maintained a no-overtime culture for our accounting team for the past 4 years. And here’s the best part - for 6 months of the year, we work a 4-day work week. More balance, more flexibility, and yes… it’s pretty amazing.
Responsibilities will include:
- Posting accounting entries,
- Reconciling bank accounts, subledgers, fixed assets etc.
- Filing HST returns
- Preparing payroll calculations
- Working with Sage, QBO, QB and Wave.
- Preparation of annual financial statements and tax filings.
- Personal tax preparation.
Job Qualifications:
- Public practice experience and financial statement preparation are considered our most important qualifications.
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in business, commerce, finance, information systems, computer science or another relevant program.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work;
- Experience in public practice and financial statements an asset;
- Independent worker with exceptional problem-solving skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Teamwork skills;
- Technical expertise in privately held business an asset;
