We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team in a dual-role position. This unique opportunity combines responsibilities at our beer store with duties at our hotel front desk. Beer Store Duties
- Assist customers with purchases and product recommendations
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, organize stock and maintain store cleanliness
- Verify age and ID for alcohol purchases
Hotel Front Desk Duties:
- Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out processes
- Answer phone calls, emails, and assist with reservations
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments
Experience
- Experience working in a retail environment is beneficial
- Must meet minimum legal age requirement for alcohol sales (19+)
- Must meet BC requirements to sell controlled substances (SIR certified)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to different work environments
- Basic computer skills (experience with booking and POS systems an asset)
- Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred
This position is vital for ensuring excellent customer service and smooth store operations. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic.
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
