We are seeking a dedicated, in-office Office Manager to join our team in Winnipeg. This vital role supports our daily operations, assists with core people operations, and ensures a seamless experience for our clients and staff. Key Responsibilities
Office & Operations Support:
- Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day office administrative duties, including managing mail, office supplies, and equipment.
- Client & Vendor Relations: Act as a professional first point of contact, handling general inquiries via phone/email and routing them to the production or sales teams.
- Logistics & Coordination: Assist with internal scheduling, travel coordination for event staff, and tracking project-related documentation.
HR & Payroll Assistance:
- Payroll Processing: Assist with gathering timesheets, tracking hourly employee logs, and processing expense sheets to ensure accurate semi-monthly payroll submission.
- HR Administration: Support onboarding for new hires, maintain secure digital employee files, and manage attendance tracking.
- Team Culture: Play an active role in organizing internal staff meetings, company events, and team morale initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in office management, administrative operations, or an HR/payroll assistant role.
- On-Site Commitment: Ability to work standard business hours fully on-site at our Winnipeg office.
- HR & Payroll Familiarity: Basic understanding of payroll procedures, hourly tracking, and employment documentation. Experience with payroll software is a major asset.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency with modern digital tools (e.g., Quickbooks, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, project management software, or CRM platforms).
- Discretion: High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial, client, and employee information.
- Adaptability: A proven track record of staying calm under pressure and managing multiple moving parts in a deadline-driven industry.
