The required workload for this position is between 40-50 hours per week from January-June and 24-30 hours per week from July-December. Our office is closed on weekends and all statutory holidays throughout the year.

We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the owner-operators, the successful candidate will:
- Professionally respond to client inquiries and questions in person, over the phone, and through e-mail, or relay messages to appropriate party to ensure client requests are addressed;
- Complete intake procedures for various types of files, including Canadian & U.S. tax files, and appropriately log in company records;
- Assist clients with signing documents and processing payments;
- Assemble various income tax returns, filings, and other client deliverables; and
- Assist with other administrative tasks and functions throughout the office as required.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly in a fast-paced environment;
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and strong attendance record in previous roles;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong problem solving skills and initiative to continually improve processes and client relationships;
- Strong technological skills (particularly Microsoft Office products) with willingness and aptitude to learn other relevant technical skills; and
- Minimum 8 years of administrative work experience as an administrative assistant or receptionist specifically within an income tax office, accounting firm, law firm, or other similar type of financial services office.
