Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. Duties
- Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to maintain precise financial records.
- Conduct account reconciliations regularly to verify data integrity across various accounts.
- Perform detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including audit preparation and reporting.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and tax preparations.
Skills
- Proven experience in accounting management with proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and budgeting processes.
- Excellent account reconciliation and account analysis skills to ensure data accuracy.
