Job Description – Agricultural & Heavy Equipment Service Technician
Terrastone Hydraulic Hose & Repair Ltd. is looking for a well-rounded mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, and in-barn systems. This is a field and shop position requiring strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair tractors, farm implements, and agricultural equipment.
- Service excavators, loaders, skid steers, rock trucks, and other heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and PTO systems.
- Repair and install hydraulic hoses, cylinders, fittings, and components.
- Service and repair manure systems, alley scrapers, pumps, and other dairy barn equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, welding, fabrication, and shop repairs.
- Complete service reports, maintain a clean service truck, and communicate professionally with customers.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with agricultural equipment is required.
- Working knowledge of heavy equipment and diesel engines.
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently in the field and make sound repair decisions.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence (Class 3 or air brakes is an asset).

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
