Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality cleaning services to support the overall facility operations.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure thorough sanitation of all surfaces and fixtures
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, carpets, and other surfaces according to established standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to facility-specific cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistent service quality
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and facilities maintenance best practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Good organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods
