Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, supporting our ongoing construction and material hauling projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Transport construction materials, debris, or other loads to designated locations
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, loads, and mileage as required
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using loaders or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Conduct minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding schedules or issues
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)with 3years experience minimum
- Prior experience operating dump trucks in a construction or industrial setting preferred
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for maintaining vehicle performance
- Proven track record of safe driving practices and adherence to safety standards
