Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time or partime (32 hours per week) Bookkeeper specializing in Property Management to join our team. Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records using leading accounting software such as Sage Intact & Yardi
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies.
- Conduct account analysis to monitor financial health and prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Manage vendor relations - confirming quotes and invoices match and payments are made on time.
- Reconcile invoices, receipts, and statements to uphold data integrity across all accounts.
- Assist with budgeting activities by tracking expenses and forecasting future financial needs related to property operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting within property management or real estate sectors.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage, and/or Yardi or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial data accurately.
- Familiarity with budgeting techniques and financial reporting standards.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors.
