Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other menu items, ensuring excellent food presentation and taste. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, food safety, and customer satisfaction are paramount. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously when required
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
