Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our hotel property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance staff, ensuring the proper functioning of all hotel systems, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent project management skills to coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility upgrades. The Hotel Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring guest satisfaction through well-maintained facilities and equipment.
Duties
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and projects
- Oversee routine inspections and preventative maintenance of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Manage repair work for building systems, appliances, and fixtures using schematics and technical manuals
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or upgrades
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical, low voltage systems, and industrial maintenance practices
- Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
Skills
- Proven management and supervising experience in a hospitality or manufacturing environment
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Mechanical knowledge with expertise in industrial maintenance, schematics reading, and troubleshooting electrical or HVAC systems
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Strong communication skills in English for effective coordination with staff and vendors
- Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex repair tasks
