On behalf of our client, we are looking for a dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join their team located in Nanaimo!
This role is responsible for repairing, diagnosing, and educating team members and customers about vehicle repair and maintenance while working in a safe and clean shop with state-of-the-art equipment supported by a hard-working team.
Other responsibilities to expect in this role include:
- Identify and diagnose the root cause of vehicle issues
- Carry out repairs accurately and efficiently
- Complete all authorized services on customer vehicles
- Inspect, test, and adjust systems to meet manufacturer performance standards
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups
- Communicate with customers and team members about completed work, vehicle condition, and recommended future repairs
- Maintain and service shop equipment on a regular schedule
- Operate company and customer vehicles safely while keeping them clean
- Support customer relationships by addressing inquiries and providing clear information

Qualifications:
- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician ticket
- CVI Inspection certificate
- Automotive industry knowledge and skills to provide mechanical repairs and service to customers
- Ability to maintain and provide a valid driver’s licence and annual satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Strong communication and customer service skills
