Employee’s Duties and Responsibilities
Canco Propane’s Truck Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional transportation and delivery of propane products to residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial customers. This position requires strict adherence to all transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity of Canco. The Truck Driver plays a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries, conducting vehicle and equipment inspections, responding to customer needs, and supporting the Canco Propane’s commitment to safety, reliability, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a propane delivery truck (bobtail or transport) in compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company policies.

Load, transport, and unload propane to customer locations on a scheduled route.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.

Accurately complete daily delivery logs, inspection reports, and other paperwork as required.

Monitor tank levels and report abnormal usage or safety concerns to dispatch or service team.

Ensure all deliveries are made safely, including proper use of PPE and adherence to hazard handling procedures.

Provide courteous and professional customer service at every delivery.

Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Assist with tank installations, leak checks, or other field operations if needed.

Required training for the safe handling of propane will be provided.
Requirements:
Compensation
$30/hr. (starting point)
