Summary
The Customer Execution Specialist supports the execution of sales and merchandising initiatives within the Loblaws network. This role focuses on maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring in-store execution standards are met, and supporting sales growth through effective communication, analysis, and collaboration. Working closely with Bakery Specialists, Area Sales Managers, and internal teams, the Customer Execution Specialist helps deliver the Wonderbrands brand experience in stores while identifying opportunities to improve performance. The Customer Execution Specialist reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
Location: Supporting the GTA East or GTA West territory
Primary Responsibilities
Support In-Store Execution Excellence

Build and maintain positive working relationships with Loblaws Bakery Specialists and store teams across assigned territories.

Support execution of Wonderbrands merchandising standards, including planogram compliance, pricing accuracy, shelf presence, and secondary display placement.

Assist in communicating and coordinating point-of-sale (POS) materials to support innovation launches, promotions, and seasonal programs.

Conduct regular store visits to monitor execution standards and identify opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to ensure consistent execution of company priorities.

Educate store teams on product features, promotions, and merchandising best practices.
Support Sales Growth and Performance

Assist in achieving sales and execution KPIs within assigned territories.

Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve product availability, merchandising, and sales results.

Utilize tools such as WonderConnect and sales reports to track execution and identify action items.

Support promotional activities and store-level business development initiatives.
-
Provide feedback and insights from the field to help improve customer programs and execution strategies.
Reporting and Administrative Support

Maintain accurate records of store visits, observations, and action plans.
-
Prepare basic reports and summaries related to sales performance and execution metrics.

Support customer meetings and business reviews by gathering relevant data and insights.

Ensure timely follow-up on identified opportunities and customer requests.
Required Experience
-
Postsecondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, merchandising, retail operations, or customer service.
- Experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) or food industry is considered an asset.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
- Comfortable analyzing basic sales and execution data to identify opportunities.
- Willingness to travel regularly within an assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Passion for customer service, retail excellence, and the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.
Additional Role Requirements:

Ability to travel extensively, with approximately 90% of time spent in the field.
- Flexibility to work early morning schedules, including start times as early as 4:00 a.m.
- Willingness to travel overnight on an occasional basis, as business needs require.
- Ability to lift and move materials/equipment as required to perform job responsibilities.
