Construction Labourer / Skilled Tradesperson
Currie’s Design & Build Inc. is a growing residential construction company based in the Peterborough/Kawartha area specializing in custom homes, renovations, additions, outdoor living spaces, and high-end finish work.
We are currently looking to add another dependable member to our team. We are open to hiring:
- an experienced/skilled tradesperson
OR
- a motivated labourer/apprentice looking to grow in the construction industry.
This is a hands-on role with a wide variety of work across residential construction and renovation projects.
Responsibilities may include:
- general construction labour
- framing and carpentry
- drywall and finishing work
- trim and cabinet installation
- tile, flooring, and painting
- demolition and site prep
- exterior projects including decks, siding, soffit/fascia, and landscaping
- operating hand and power tools safely
- maintaining a clean and organized job site
- working independently and as part of a team
Assets:
- experience in residential construction or renovations
- ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- experience operating equipment or trailers
- knowledge of multiple trades
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
