Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Barista / Bartender to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and committed to creating a welcoming experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and make recommendations to customers
- Ensure beverages are prepared consistently and presented well
- Restock ingredients, cups, garnishes, syrups, and bar supplies
- Keep the bar, coffee station, and dining/service areas clean and organized
- Wash glassware, utensils, and equipment as needed
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
- Open and close the bar or café area properly
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth service
- Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Check IDs and follow alcohol service laws and company policies (When Liquor becomes available)
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista, bartender, server, or in customer service preferred
- Knowledge of coffee preparation and/or alcoholic beverage service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [20–30] lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service, if applicable
- Food handler or alcohol service certification preferred, if required by local law
