We are looking to hire licensed Captains to work on our ships RMS Segwun, Wenonah II, and Wanda III. Muskoka Steamships is located in 185 Cherokee Lane in Gravenhurst, ON.
Muskoka Steamships features the historic steamship RMS Segwun, built in 1887 and North America's oldest operating Royal Mail Ship, the stunning 216 passenger Wenonah II, built in 2002, and the Wanda III, a 94' steam yacht originally built in 1915 and recently converted to electric propulsion. Sightseeing, Dining, and Private Charter cruises are offered on Lakes Muskoka, Rosseau, and Joseph. Join us and become a part of Muskoka's history!
Responsibilities
- Navigate and operate the vessel safely while adhering to maritime regulations.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers by providing exceptional customer service.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the ship's systems.
- Manage crew assignments and coordinate activities during voyages.
- Address any emergencies or issues that arise promptly and efficiently.
This would be a seasonal position running from May to October.
