Job Overview:
The Quality Control Inspector is a key member of the Manufacturing Department. Duties of this role are to perform Quality Control related activities working with the QHSE Manager and Repairs Manager. The Quality Control Inspector will also contribute to process improvements within the area as well as any QHSE initiatives.
Responsibilities:

Ability to read prints and write documentation as required.

Understand engineering prints / drawings / schematics.

Use of advanced inspection, testing and measuring equipment.

Able to adapt to changing demands / deadlines.

Team-work communication skills to ensure effective communication handover.

Analysis skills to identify areas of improvement.

Meet or exceed work order standards and make recommendations on same standards.
Requirements:

Product knowledge to support quality planning and inspection.

ISO / API Standards as applicable to certificates achieved by company product technical knowledge to support quality planning and inspection.

2 years experience in inspection methodology and process control.

Customer communication skills.

Incoming good inspection and shipping knowledge / experience.

Experience in control of measuring equipment / gauges and calibration process.

Practical trace management and implementation.

Sound problem solving skills.
