- Is highly organized, detail oriented, and has excellent time management skills
- Can multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy dental office environment
- Is customer service driven and committed to creating a positive patient experience
- Has strong experience with filling and managing schedules for both hygiene and doctor appointments
- Works well under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Has strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and services to confidently explain treatment and benefits to patients
- Has a good understanding of dental insurance benefits and claims to help patients maximize and manage their coverage
- Enjoys connecting with patients and helping them navigate their dental care journey
- Takes initiative and consistently goes the extra mile for patients and the team
- Enjoys learning new systems, technology, and processes
- Works collaboratively and contributes positively to our team culture
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing and optimizing hygiene and doctor schedules
- Proactively filling openings and maximizing appointment opportunities
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients in person and over the phone
- Coordinating patient appointments, recalls, and follow-ups
- Completing dental benefit checks and reviewing insurance coverage with patients
- Preparing and sending dental and hygiene treatment estimates
- Helping patients understand their insurance benefits, treatment options, and financial responsibilities
- Processing patient dismissals, including:
- Sending insurance claims
- Collecting and processing payments
- Scheduling future appointments
- Ensuring patients leave with a clear understanding of their next steps
- Assisting patients with treatment coordination and financial discussions
- Supporting a positive and efficient patient flow throughout the office
- Working collaboratively with the clinical team to deliver an outstanding patient experience
Schedule
- Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (every other week, alternating with Saturdays; approximately two Fridays per month)
- Saturday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (every other week, alternating with Fridays; approximately two Saturdays per month)
