We are looking for a reliable and experienced Construction Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction and be comfortable working on a variety of interior and exterior projects.
This position involves both skilled construction work and estimating responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Framing and rough carpentry
- Drywall installation and taping
- Trim carpentry and finishing work
- Assist with residential and commercial renovations
- Read drawings and project plans
- Prepare interior and exterior construction estimates
- Measure and assess project scopes on-site
- Coordinate materials and job site preparation
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- Experience in framing, drywall, taping, and carpentry
- Knowledge of interior and exterior construction practices
- Estimating experience is considered a strong asset
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical work
