Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain excellent customer service and professional attitude
- Ensure open lines of communication with your manager & customers
- Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on all work sites and have a working knowledge of safety protocols both onsite and off-site
- Complete required paperwork with accuracy according to company policies, procedures and protocols
- Ordering fitness parts
- Monitor and track inventory levels of fitness parts, equipment, and supplies, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment
- Document and report damaged goods to affected parties and your manager
- Properly tag and label incoming products and stage for put away
- Sort products/materials and ensure items are safely stored
- Offer your expertise and knowledge on parts, service, repairs and maintenance
- Receive, review, and process service work orders, ensuring accurate documentation of customer requirements, specifications, and service details.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, work order statuses, customer interactions, and any other relevant information.
- Generate reports to provide insights on service performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Scheduling service calls with customers
- Move equipment/products safely and securely (heavy lifting)
- Operate a forklift
- Assemble product according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Installation of accessories and equipment
- Advise customers of work performed, general equipment condition & future repair requirements
- Operate equipment used for testing and diagnosing purposes
- Diagnose and repair fitness equipment with efficiency and accuracy
- Remove all packaging from site and ensure the site is clean and tidy before departing
- Complete documentation pertaining to incoming and outgoing inventory
- Utilizing navigation apps and maintaining an organized travel schedule
- Use of a debit machine to take payments from customers
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks and ensuring enough gas is in the tank for the next day
- May require occasional travel out of town for work (including overnight stay)
- Assist other team members when needed
- Other tasks as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Recognize the importance of building strong, lasting relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers
- Mechanically inclined with technical knowledge on fitness equipment operations
- Experience with inventory management
- Training/Certification in service, repair and maintenance on fitness equipment (preferred)
- Competent computer skills
- Capable and confident individual focused on customer service
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Must be accountable, reliable and have good problem-solving skills
- Organized with ability to balance priorities
- Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through
- Ability to safely lift heavy products up to 55 lbs. on your own
- Ability to safely lift heavy products, with team lifts over 100 lbs.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written (fluent in English)
- Must be a professional, team player with a positive “can do” attitude
- Have great work ethic and eager to learn new things
- May be required to take, and submit results for drug & alcohol testing as per third party safety protocols
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract & satisfactory criminal record check
