Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office software. This role involves managing daily administrative tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth office workflow. Experience with medical or dental office procedures is a plus, along with familiarity with QuickBooks and Google Workspace. Responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Handle filing, document proofreading, and general clerical tasks to support daily operations
- Assist with bookkeeping and basic accounting functions using QuickBooks or similar software
- Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person, ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained
- Support scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff or medical/dental offices
- Coordinate correspondence, prepare reports, and assist in administrative projects as needed
- Maintain organized files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within a medical or dental office setting
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software
- Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service experience
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently; proofreading skills are a plus
- Prior experience working at the front desk or handling multi-line phone systems is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage filing systems and perform administrative support tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of medical or dental office procedures is advantageous but not required
Pay: $25.00-$29.99 per hour
