We're looking for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Forklift Driver to join our operations team. This position plays an important role in keeping production moving by ensuring lumber products are safely received, accurately inventoried, and efficiently prepared for shipment.

What You'll Do
As part of our Shipping & Receiving team, you will:
- Safely unload incoming lumber and materials from trucks and place them in designated storage locations.
- Confirm inventory quantities and stage products for outbound shipments.
- Tally, tag, wrap, band, and repackage lumber products as required.
- Load outbound trucks, trailers, and export containers while ensuring proper weight distribution across decks and axles.
- Inspect loads for stability, accuracy, and product quality before shipment.
- Read and verify shipping documents, packing lists, and work orders.
- Work closely with production and inventory teams to maintain efficient material flow.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with stock organization.
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What You'll Bring - Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Minimum 2–3 years of forklift experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or lumber environment.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Experience loading and unloading flat decks, trailers, or similar equipment.
- Ability to read shipping documents, packing lists, and work orders accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Preferred Qualifications
The following experience is considered an asset:
- Lumber mill, sawmill, remanufacturing, or wood products manufacturing.
- Loading intermodal export containers.
- Inventory management systems.
- Shipping documentation and freight coordination.
- Tallying and product identification.
- Experience working around overhead cranes or heavy industrial equipment.
