Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food and customer service. Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Ensure guest needs are met throughout their dining experience, providing excellent guest services.
- Assist in setting up tables, refilling beverages, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean work environment.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
