Job Summary:
The Billing Administrator is directly responsible for performing data entry, centralized invoice preparation, and related duties. This includes consolidated invoicing, contract-specific invoicing, and invoicing submission through submission portals. Other responsibilities include computing costs and calculating rates for goods, services, and shipment of goods; posting data; and keeping other relevant records.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

What you will do day-to-day:

Compile data, compute fees, and prepare invoices for billing purposes.

Process inventory receipts, inventory transfers, and reconciliations

Compile data supporting documents to verify the accuracy of billing data and to ensure receipt of the product ordered.

Compare invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered.

Assist in the preparation of special invoices, such as consolidated invoices and contract-specific invoicing.

Create and customize Excel-formatted reports on customer usage and spending.

Comply with billing and accounting deadlines.

Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.

Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners.

Respond to phone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.

Send out invoices to customers and/or submit via online submission portals.

Other related duties as required or assigned.
What you need to succeed:
Education
-
High School Diploma required.
-
Post-Secondary Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
Experience
-
3+ years’ experience in a Billing role.
