Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating industrial sewing machines to produce fabricated Welding blankets, pads and curtains made of silicone coated fiberglass. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication shops and sewing for insulation companies, with a strong focus on safety, precision, and productivity. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic production setting.
Job Duties
- Operate single, double, and multi-needle sewing machines to complete stock products as well as custom specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect own work in order to meet quality standards
- Monitor sewing machine operation as per maintenance program
- Other duties as assigned and/or directed by Operation leaders
Qualifications
- Prior experience operating industrial sewing machines such as Juki or Consew or others is required.
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with production environments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and consistent work.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Work Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm; occasional overtime on Saturdays can be offered.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
