Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of menu items, including meals, snacks, and beverages, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling dishes to ensure timely service
- Cook food items according to safety guidelines and quality standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support the food service team by taking orders, serving guests, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
- Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and notifying management of shortages
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
