Old English Grooming Club a Luxury Barbershop located in Yorkville Village.

We are seeking talented, professional and personable barbers and hairstylists to join in our amazing team; a barber who is passionate, able to do haircuts for every ethnicity, and offers a great experience for our clients.
We welcome all Barbers to apply, but we are on the lookout for barbers who also have some experience in women's hair as well, as we are considering opening up our services to include women's hairstyling!
Our Barbers provide customers with every aspect of the Barbershop experience. Which includes consultations, recommending hair care products and delivering quality technical services. We really emphasize getting to know the customer's needs and giving them what they really want.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Consult with clients on hair styling needs, recommend professional hair care and services.
* Be proficient in the latest hair styles and barbering techniques, moustaches and beards, scissor over comb techniques, hot shaves, as well as value added services.
* Be proficient in use of equipment needed to perform technical work.
* Learn all product application techniques, benefits of all products sold and used in the barbershop.
* Responsible for the daily cleaning of workstation.
Required Qualifications:
* Must have advanced shave and barbering skills.
* Minimum 2 years experience in a barbershop or salon environment.
* Extensive experience with customer service.
*Must speak English
Work schedule:
* Must be available to work weekends and/or weekdays, AM and PM. We are open 10am - 7pm Tuesday - Saturday. We are looking for someone who is available to be here for those times, and dedicated to being there every day we are open.
This is a commission based role! (40% to the barber & 60% to the shop)
