The Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations at the site level, ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe handling of materials. This role leads the warehouse team across receiving, storage, inventory handling, and shipping activities, while supporting the broader inventory strategy and processes established by the Inventory Manager.
Operating in a fast-paced, construction and operations environment, the Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining material availability, inventory accuracy, and site readiness. while operating in alignment with IREN’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
Warehouse Operations & Supervision
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials.
- Lead, schedule, and support warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and coverage aligned with site demands.
- Ensure materials are handled, stored, and issued in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
Receiving & Shipping
- Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics at site, ensuring accurate and timely processing of deliveries and shipments.
- Ensure all incoming materials are properly inspected, documented, and receipted.
- Coordinate with procurement, project teams, and vendors to resolve discrepancies, damages, or delivery issues.
- Manage outbound shipments, including returns, transfers, and project-related deliveries.
Inventory Management
- Execute inventory control processes including stock issuance, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
- Support the implementation and adherence to inventory management systems, processes, and controls.
- Monitor stock levels and collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels, including critical spares.
- Ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions within ERP systems.
Process & Systems Support
- Support the rollout and continuous improvement of warehouse and inventory processes, particularly as systems (e.g., ERP) are implemented and matured.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements to warehouse operations and material flow.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and internal controls.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Partner closely with site operations, maintenance, construction, and procurement teams to support material needs and priorities.
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for all warehouse-related activities.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture within the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with all site safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in safety audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
