We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and motivated individuals to join our landscaping team as a Landscape Maintenance Team Member. This position is suitable for both entry-level helpers and experienced supervisors. The ideal candidate is punctual, physically fit, enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, pruning, litter removal, and general property upkeep.
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with planting, mulching, soil installation, and other landscape improvement projects.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and in good working condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, clients, and property managers as required.
- For supervisory positions, lead and coordinate crews, assign tasks, monitor work quality, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards.
Requirements:
- Previous landscaping experience is an asset but not required for helper positions.
- Experience leading landscaping crews is an asset for supervisory positions.
- Comfortable operating landscaping equipment and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials when required.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
