Northern Aviation Services provides Aircraft Refuelling at the Greater Sudbury Airport, we are a Shell Fuel Supplier.
Job Responsibilities
- Dispense petroleum fuels products (Jet and Av-gas Fuels)
- Operate motorized fuelling vehicles ( fuel tank trucks, automatic transmissions)
- Fuel aircraft per flight crew/flight plan requirements
- Inspect fuelling equipment and vehicles- report malfunctions or inconsistencies
- Provide on call services
- Perform accurate fuelling calculations
- Fuel ground support equipment (gasoline or diesel) as required
- Interact with air carrier personnel
- Utilize hand-held radios, telephones and computers for communication
- Complete and submit all documentation associated with fueling activities
- Comply with all federal, municipal, airport authority requirements.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Must have DZ License
- Must be able to pass Transportation Security Clearance (which will be provided by employer)
- Must be able to obtain Radio Operators Permit and Air side Vehicle Operator Permit (which will be provided by employer)
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, multiple shifts and team-oriented environment
- Must be dependable and able to take direction from supervisors to service the customer safely and on time.
- General math aptitude
- Good knowledge of the English language both verbal and written
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-28 per week
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
