Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team, providing expert repair and maintenance services for a wide range of vehicles and machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with various tools and equipment, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex automotive issues efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing both traditional and industrial repair skills to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and comprehensive repairs on automobiles, heavy trucks.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hands-on inspection.
- Repair or replace components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other vehicle parts.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized machinery to complete repairs accurately.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals for troubleshooting complex systems
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each service order.
- Assist with assembly or installation of new equipment or components when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair, heavy trucks
- Hands-on expertise with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Mechanical knowledge across various systems including electrical systems, hydraulics, schematics reading, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with maintenance tasks involving heavy lifting and the use of industrial equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment requiring heavy lifting or assembly tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
