Midtown Honda is seeking individuals interested in the role of Sales Consultant. The Sales Consultant, under the direction of the Sales Manager, will primarily be responsible sell/lease new and used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards.

Job Qualifications:
- Ability to bring positive energy to the showroom floor and connect naturally with customers
- Sales experience would be considered as asset
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel and computer applications
- OMVIC license will be required
Job Requirements:
- Ensures proper follow up of all potential buyers utilizing the CRM as well as Upgrade System
- Makes an average of 40 outgoing calls per day to potential customers as well as follow ups with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Participates in daily sales workshops, “one to one” meeting with Sales Manager every week as well as a weekly combined sales meeting
- Ensures constant touch with customers who are allocated to the salesperson arising from appointments from internet and phone leads, customers in good position to purchase in the Upgrade System, customers who are in their database but not in the Upgrade System and inactive service database allocated to them by management
- Ensures CSI at above Zone, Region, National average
- Ensures 100% turnover of customers in the showroom the Sales Manager prior to their leaving the showroom
- Follows up intensively on unsold customers to get them back in the showroom and sell them a vehicle
- Alerts sales management if feels dealership is at risk from fraudulent customers
- Maintains an appointment closing ratio of 50% for walk-in customers as well as those who came on appointments to purchase a vehicle
Additional Responsibilities:
- Wears proper professional attire as per Company Dress Code Policy
- Achieves monthly and annual goals and objectives for sales and gross
- Participates in all manufacturers as well as dealership-initiated training
- Other duties as assigned
