Overview of the Role:
A growing beauty and professional salon supply company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented E-Commerce & Order Fulfillment Associate to join our team. This role combines online store operations with warehouse and shipping responsibilities. The successful candidate will help manage inventory, fulfill customer orders, update product information, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment & Shipping
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Print shipping labels and process outgoing shipments
- Ensure orders are shipped on time and packed professionally
- Deliver packed shipments to nearby courier depots when required
- Receive, unpack, and organize incoming inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and stock availability
- Update inventory quantities and product information
- Perform regular inventory counts and audits
- Assist with identifying low stock items and replenishment needs
- Organize products and storage areas for efficient order fulfillment
E-Commerce Operations
- Update product pricing, quantities, and information on company systems
- Assist with maintaining accurate product listings
- Monitor incoming orders and assist with order processing
- Ensure product information remains accurate and up to date
Customer Service
- Respond to customer emails and inquiries professionally
- Assist customers with order status, shipping questions, and product inquiries
- Help resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using computers and online systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move boxes as required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Additional Requirements: Valid Ontario driver’s license; Access to a reliable vehicle; Comfortable dropping shipments at nearby courier depots when required; Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with inventory management; Experience with order fulfillment, shipping, or warehouse operations; Experience with customer service and email communication; Experience working with e-commerce or online retail businesses is an asset.
