Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting data. This role offers an opportunity to work with various accounting software platforms and contribute to the financial health of our organization. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in bookkeeping practices.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management review
- Support budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience with bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently
- Basic understanding of budgeting principles is a plus
- Prior experience in account analysis and bank reconciliation is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Pay: $33.00-$35.00 per hour
