Currently looking for someone great to work between 20-30 hours a week.
Some weekend availability is important (especially Sundays) during the busy summer season. There are also opportunities to pick up shifts and cover for folks taking time off which can add up to more hours.
Whirled Arts has been in this fabulous Fan Tan Alley location for 29 yrs.
We were one of the first Victoria stores to concentrate on Locally made jewellery, clothing etc and continue to do so.
We're known for having the largest diversity of stone and other jewellery in all forms at great prices. You can feel great about what you're selling.
As well, we have statues and dharma goods from many parts of Asia and an incredible selection of pure and rare incenses. As such, must like (not be allergic) to incense.
All our clothing is locally designed and only using natural or reclaimed materials.
You're extroverted, energetic, can multi-task and love helping people find the perfect item for themselves or as gifts. Also, you must be okay with working on your feet for most of the day as this is not a sit down position.
Preference given to those within waking or short commute to the store and those who want a long-term position. Post secondary students are welcome to apply.
