Shanghai Construction Group Canada Corporation is a Construction Company for underground Tunneling. Now we are hiring Construction Laborer
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisted with construction site setup, including preparation and launching shaft construction
- Provided labor support across multiple phases of the project, including secant pile construction, tunneling operations, and retrieval shaft construction, etc.
- Manual labor including shoveling, sweeping, raking, etc.; as well as operation of various power tools as required.
- Must have a strong work ethic and an ability to work in a team setting.
- Encompassing good communication skills for the ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, etc. in a courteous, and professional manner at all times.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Be willing to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary (8-12 hour shifts; 5-6 days a week).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Safety tickets: Fall Protection, Confined Space and H2S Alive, CSTS
- Experience with working underground and/or tunneling would be an asset
- Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug screening
