Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires efficiently using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper inflation to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Perform wheel alignments and other basic automotive maintenance tasks as needed
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain services performed and recommend additional maintenance or sales opportunities
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot tire-related issues and advise customers accordingly
- Lift heavy tires safely and assist with vehicle inspections in compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and tire technology is essential
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Familiarity with automotive sales processes is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to learn new skills in automotive repair
