The Position:
We are looking for reliable candidates that have a strong work ethic and are able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established automotive company in Strathroy with opportunity to permanent career growth. As a Production Associate, it is your responsibility to ensure that product is produced, properly manufactured, and meets all quality standards.
Job responsibilities include:
- Operate a variety of machinery
- Handcrafting the manufactured product with attention to detail by following SOP’s
- Perform repetitive tasks with consistency and attention to detail to meet quality standards
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Complete physically demanding tasks to meet shipping requirements
- Assist with other tasks as needed
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Open availability to work ALL THREE shifts (days, afternoons and nights)
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 25lbs on a repetitive basis
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Successful completion of high school education or equivalent. *Teppen can assist you in acquiring your G.E.D.*
- Related experience is an asset
- Candidates with the following experience have transferable skills general labour/labor, warehouse work, or manufacturing background.
