What we are looking for:
1960 Lumber & Hardware Corp. is a Lumber & Building materials retail store searching for an individual who is enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service and is interested in being an integral part the delivery and material pick up schedule .
About the Role:
We are looking for a driver for our building materials yard. We are looking for both full and part time drivers. Our drivers are responsible for picking up material from suppliers and delivering product to customers in a professional manner with excellent customer service. Drivers will be expected to use different vehicles depending on the needs of the customer and will be working in a shared environment with other drivers. Drivers will be expected to keep the equipment organized, clean and free of garbage and debris daily.
What is required:
- Clean drivers abstract
- Moffet / Forklift / Skid Steer experience preferred.
- Physically fit, and able to work outdoors.
- Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- The ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work through busy days in a high-pressure environment.
- Security and Safety Conscious.
- Class 5 is a must and class 3 is preferred.
