We are currently seeking a dedicated SLP Assistant interested in working part-time, during weekday afternoons and early evenings; weekend hours. Some daytime hours may also be an option. The majority of caseload is focused on speech, language & literacy support; our therapy assistants also work under the direction of Occupational Therapists to support OT-related goals.

Responsibilities & Skills:
- Under the supervision of an SLP, provide intervention for speech, language, and literacy delays and disorders mainly for children ages 1-18.
- Implement individualized treatment plans for children and their families.
- Work with daycare and school-based teams when applicable to support carry-over of client goals and generalization into the classroom or daycare environments.
- Independently manage caseload documentation and proactively coordinate with supervising SLP/OTs and families regarding progress and treatment adjustments.
- Participate in regular team trainings and meetings.
- Open to collaboration and feedback to ensure practices align with clinic's standards.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills in managing multiple clients and maintaining detailed records.
- Collaborate effectively with our multi-disciplinary team and provide input on integrated treatment approaches.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma from an accredited post-secondary Therapy Assistant program or SLP-A program. (Similar education and experience may be considered.)
- Minimum 3 years of SLPA experience
- Clean Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Experience working as a therapy assistant under the supervision of an OT.
- Experience teaching literacy or working with literacy delays/disorders.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multi-disciplinary practice experience.
- Private practice background.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems.
