Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated 4th-5th Year 309A Apprentice to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing advanced training in electrical and construction fields. The apprentice will work closely with experienced electricians to develop practical skills, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to various construction and maintenance projects.
Duties
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup
- Support the installation of construction components, including framing, wiring, and equipment mounting
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge
Requirements
- Current enrollment in or completion of relevant apprenticeship programs (4th or 5th year of 309A)
- Proven experience with electrical work, including use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and basic electrical troubleshooting techniques
- Strong understanding of construction practices related to electrical installations
- Experience working with industrial electrical systems preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in residential electrical wiring mandatory
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
