OPTIONAL 4 DAY WORK WEEK
HVAC Service Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and water heaters
- Perform regular maintenance and safety inspections
- Replace faulty components and test system performance
- Calibrate thermostats and ensure proper system operation
- Document all service work and communicate clearly with customers
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
Residential Installer Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and service new HVAC systems and hydronic heating equipment
- Install boilers, pumps, expansion tanks, controls, and piping systems
- Follow schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Braze, solder, and connect gas, refrigerant, and hydronic lines
- Perform start-ups and safety tests for new installations
- Ensure compliance with codes, permits, and manufacturer specifications
- Work collaboratively with project managers and other trades
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC or boiler installer (residential or commercial)
- Boiler experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of HVAC and hydronic heating systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, piping layouts, and blueprints
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to HVAC and boiler installations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
