We are currently seeking passionate, people focused experienced Estimator to join our growing team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 3 -5 years of mechanical estimator and/or project management experience, ideally in multi-family residential construction
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems in wood frame construction
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and Project scheduling tools such as Procore, & Field Wire.
- Knowledge of BC Plumbing Code, BC Building Code, WorkSafeBC regulations, and municipal permit processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Superior time management skills
- Trade background (Red Seal Plumbing or HVAC) (Preferred)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Nice to have)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Responsibilities Include:
- Review architectural blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and perform material calculations.
- Estimate labour requirements, equipment needs, and subcontractor costs.
- Solicit and assess quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare comprehensive cost breakdowns and bid proposals.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment.
- Analyze potential project risks and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain current pricing databases and accurate cost records.
- Provide support for contract negotiations and change order pricing.
