Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insulation Supervisor to lead our insulation projects within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will oversee installation teams, ensure quality standards, and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines and budget requirements. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate insulation installation teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to plan and execute insulation work effectively.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project scheduling, documentation, and communication.
- Monitor quality control measures throughout the installation process to meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating to ensure projects stay within financial parameters.
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper insulation techniques, safety compliance, and overall project progress.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills related to insulation installation.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in the construction industry, particularly in insulation or related trades.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and safety standards in construction environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles relevant to large-scale construction projects.
