JJ Malibu, one of the fastest-growing LGBTQ+ apparel brands in North America, is looking for a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our Social Media & Influencer team at our new office in Newmarket, Ontario.

What You’ll Do:
- Build brand awareness and engagement across our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.)
- Research, reach out to, and manage relationships with influencers and athletes
- Interact with customers online and assist with product/service-related inquiries
- Develop original and engaging content tailored to our community
- Assist with planning and coordinating photoshoots with photographers, models, and partner agencies
- Track social media performance and provide insights to optimize campaigns
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be LGBTQ+ friendly and aligned with our brand values
- Currently pursuing (or completed) post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
- Knowledge of fashion, lifestyle, or LGBTQ+ industries is an asset
- Spanish or Portuguese fluency is a plus!
Job Details:
- 6 months contract with possibility to renew as full time
- Hybrid/On-site in Newmarket, Ontario
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
