Responsibilities: (must have plumbing experience and be registered as an apprentice in the province of MB or a red seal completion for all applicants)
- Must live in Winnipeg or within 30min of the perimeter
- Assemble, install, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other construction professionals to complete remodeling projects
- Perform pipe threading, cutting, and bending to fit specific project requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes to ensure accurate installation and compliance with regulations
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose and repair plumbing issues
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques, materials, and tools
- Proficiency in basic math for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, and estimating material requirements
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot plumbing issues
