Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, and other front-end technologies.
- Design and implement server-side components utilizing frameworks such as Spring, Django, Ruby on Rails, or ASP.NET.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and SOAP web services to facilitate data exchange across platforms.
- Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, and SQLite; optimize queries for performance.
- Implement data visualization features using libraries like D3.js or Chart.js to enhance user interaction.
- Integrate third-party services such as WordPress, Drupal, or custom CMS solutions for content management.
- Utilize version control systems like GitHub or SVN for code management; participate in code reviews and collaborative development workflows.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Ensure website SEO optimization and adherence to best practices for accessibility and usability standards.
- Collaborate within Agile teams using tools like Jira or Trello to plan sprints and track project progress.
- Maintain system architecture documentation; contribute to the SDLC process for efficient project delivery.
- Apply DevOps principles with tools like Ansible or Azure DevOps for infrastructure automation and deployment.
Experience
- Proven experience in full-stack web development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js; knowledge of TypeScript is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with server-side languages including Java (Spring Framework), Python (Django), PHP (Laravel), or Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker; experience deploying applications on AWS or Azure cloud platforms is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of web services (RESTful APIs, SOAP) and data formats such as JSON and XML.
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) as well as NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles along with proficiency in Bootstrap, SCSS/SASS for styling responsive interfaces.
- Experience with version control systems (Git), build tools (Jenkins), and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; comfortable working in fast-paced environments requiring adaptability.
