Position Summary:
Galaxy Freightline Inc. is looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate for our night shift operations at our Mississauga terminal. This is a fast-paced environment handling LTL freight, where attention to detail, safety, and efficiency are critical.
Shift Timing: Night Shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload LTL freight efficiently and safely
- Perform cross-docking and freight consolidation
- Operate counterbalance forklift for loading and unloading
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damages
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work closely with dispatch and warehouse team to meet operational deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience (preferably in LTL environment)
- Must have experience with LTL loading and consolidation
- Valid counterbalance forklift license/certification (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts consistently
