Taverna Gorgona is seeking an experienced Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine Chef to join our kitchen team.
We are an established Greek restaurant that has proudly served the Ladner community for more than 30 years. We are looking for a talented, reliable and passionate chef who has a strong understanding of authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and takes pride in producing high-quality food.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have professional kitchen experience with Greek, Mediterranean, or similar cuisine and a strong understanding of traditional flavours, ingredients and cooking techniques.
Experience with:
- Traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes
- Meze and appetizers
- Souvlaki and grilled meats
- Lamb, chicken and seafood
- Traditional sauces, marinades and seasonings
- Fresh Mediterranean ingredients
- High-volume restaurant service
- Food preparation, portioning and presentation
- Maintaining consistent quality and standards
- Food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organization
